Continuing along the promenade, Borgo Marina is the first section of the canal, starting from the dock and going inland. Bars and clubs, typical restaurants, delicatessens and ice cream parlours, souvenir shops and boutiques. A pleasure to browse among the shop windows, sample recipes and drinks, admire the views.
Having reached Torre San Michele and the Salt Museum, the last stretch of the canal appears. Locals, boats moored, the Darsena del Sale (Salt Dock) as a backdrop. The road is short to the historic centre, a tangle of cobbled streets, arcades, shops and shops, wine bars and restaurants.
Many entertainment events and evening markets enliven the streets of the centre throughout the summer. Cervia becomes the perfect theatre for spending leisure time on holiday at any time of day.
